1.8L vs. 2.0L head...

Dont play with things that aren't designed to be played with! The double overhead cam concept was introduced for a reason there is a lot of load place on the valve train during the operation of an engine so by having two camshafts it shares the load!( better cylinder design, less or smaller valve train, shared load, lighter valve springs) the 4G93 is the 63's little brother these Evolution design engines are a good bolt in, and if you are going to go through all the trouble of turboing something thats not designed for it good luck, i would rather let mitsu' do all the engineering and just add the little bits later! if you are worried about spending time servicing (changing cam belts "every 50,000 mls") get out of the performance world! Horsepower is money and time!

Ok. I've also got a related question and I just want a yes or no answer. Will the DOHC 1.8L off of a Hyundia fit onto a 6 bolt 2.0L. If yes what would you have to change, Thanks.

Ok. Thanks. So how do I tell if it's a 4g67

First off id like to say its the 4G37 engine (the 1.8).
Shut the FUQ up if you are saying let mitsubish do the engineering. The entire point of working a car is doing the engineering that mitsubishi didnt do. Which includes putting turbo on a 1.8.

Now that thats out of the way I gotta ask.
What head will you use? The 4g63 wont fit? And boring the block? Which head gasket would u use? Hmm. How would the timing work? And why exactly would it work better than the 4G63? I have faith in my 1.8 I just dont think you guys can answer all these questions and all the other questions ive missed...

If you had researched the 4G93 you will find its a Factory twin cam 16 valve TURBO engine easy bolt in!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats what i was saying Mitsu' has already done all the work!

Kind of like the 4g63 twin cam 16 valve TURBO engine that's an easy bolt in...

If it had the red rocker cover you would nearly say it's a vr4, my freind has one in his 93 lancer cc, the thermostat housing comes out of the head on the side (Exh) right at the end close to where the turbo oil feed is. good for small RWD project. they have a TD04h Turbo and he runs it around 15 psi seems to be holding ok.
