Sounds like 'bench racing' to me, which is against the rules on this forum.

1st, get into the 13's and then get into the 12's, then high 11's. You get the idea. In my opinion, the size turbo you will need for 10's will make for a lame car to drive if you are still going to drive it on the streets.

I hope you understand that a 10 second car will be expensive both to build and to KEEP GOING.

***EDIT: I just noticed you are FWD, all I have to say is ... Good luck on that one. The fwd turbo DSMs burn the tires bone stock. When I was in the market for a transfercase, I ran FWD for a while and I could easily burn the tires when cruising at 60 and getting on the throttle, heck I burned 'em once when I was passing my cousin going about 115 MPH.

Strip the car down, slicks, lsd, what else to get enough traction once he has the HP to theoretically do 10's? I definitely know 10's do happen with fwd's but still...

Alot of HP, some good slicks and adjustable shocks wouldnt hurt (stiffen up the back all the way)
Edit: yea I forgot get the tranny built. Mine came back from TRE last Friday :)

If this is your goal I hope you are filthy rich. Since 2003 ive easily spent over $25,000 on this car. Hell ive spent 7grand since September (last month Sept not a year ago)

These types of questions aren't what this forum board is reserved for.

Running 10's in a FWD DSM takes alot of time and work. It's much more involved than typing out a parts list on a forum. Hang out for a while, read the forums, and learn about these cars. Also, take a look at the 1/4 mile times listings here and see what mods those members used to get their times.

Chances are, after you study up on it, your goals for your car will change.
