I wish I could make this thing. I won't be in Missouri around that time though, and more importantly my car is still a little 'empty' in the underhood department. :barf: Sounds like it would be a good time. Wish I could make it! I've always wanted to be on the road and surrounded on all sides by DSM's....:rocks:

I'll go if i can make it and if you all don't mind an major noob, with a pretty crappy car being there!! I can bring cookies my mother makes amazing cookies! I live in Clinton, Mo so it'll be an hour or so drive for me..

Clayton - come on up bro. We all started somewhere :) What kind of cookies are we talking about?!:sneaky:

Anything people don't want/want in their lasagna?

Want to make sure most of everyone will want to eat it. I don't put sour cream in it. Mainly just cottage cheese, hamburger, red sauce, couple cheezes, and some HOT97 special herbs. :sneaky:

123212321, or Nick, from Talk, is a cool guy. He moved from OP to Columbia for school. LUCKY HIM! He doesn't have to drive out there.

Guys?

Hum, well what kinda cookies you all like? I'll have her make some of each and all.. About how many should i bring a couple batches? What else should i bring, car cleaning supplies, old car parts? Pin and piece of paper for ideas blah blah?

Clayton Fireshaker

Any kind of cookies will be excellent. There will be a lot of food there so it's not necessary to go overboard.

As far as other stuff to bring... it's not really a swap meet. If you have a few small things you want to bring feel free but most people don't really come to purchase things.

Digital cameras are always a good idea :)

ill be bringing my dsm to the meet if anyone wants to swap it...it's always for sale :)

Straight chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. I'll try to make it up this year in my own car. Last year I ended up going in my girlfriend's Saturn.

You ever get your IC pipes fixed Tom? Come on up Friday night and we'll get em taken care of for you.

Ill be there in my WRX.. Ill be coming from Cape Girardeau, Mo. Is there a group of STL guys going? I was wanting to go with a few people so I dont get lost.

ok I'll have her make some chocolate chip cookies and maybe a few of my favs! :p I'm 16 just so you all know. I figure I'll ###### be pretty wore out at the dinner so no extreme sports for me... It is a 2 hour drive from here to the shelter so it isn't to bad I'm used to driving about 2 and a half hours been doing it for the past month on my days off.. Where the hell is Cape Girardeau?

Clayton Fireshaker

Cape Girardeau is located at the SE corner of MO on the "boot heel".

The caravan there usually leaves an hour and a half or two before the event starts from a commuter parking lot at the intersection of highway 40/64 and highway 94. PM me if you want to go up with us and I'll give you my contact information.

Hey Clayton I have gotten word that things cannot be sold at the meet. It is against MO parks and rec regulations.

Looking forward to the chocolate chip cookies!!!

Ok, that is no problem, turns out my mother is leaving tomorrow morning for AZ. so I'll be making the cookies i hope they turn out good, I've been told i have my moms touch at cooking! :p (sorry if anyone dies haha) I'll be bringing a friend of mine he just bought a 2g eclipse, he's got a full exhaust system, and intake it's a really nice car.. I have a question. Will headers for a 2.0 fit on a 1.8L or are they different sizes? I'd really like to have a set of headers for my car since intake alone helped out quiet a bit... I'll be looking forward to next weekend for sure!

Anyone going from St. Louis on Saturday meet here:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geoc...8&t=h&z=16&om=1

That is the lot we will be meeting in. There's also one if you turn right from 94, so make sure you go to this one instead (last year there was some confusion between which lot we were meeting in).

Plan on getting there by around 10. We will leave at 10.30 sharp and aim to get there around 12--meaning don't make a cannonball run down there. An hour and a half is more than enough time to get there even if we go at a normal pace.

This is the map from the commuter lot to the park itself in case anyone couldn't find directions:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geoc...F8&t=h&z=9&om=1

If anyone has questions let me know.

Thanks for posting that Tom... I can't wait to see the new tasty ride!

Oh yeah... update your profile unless you just transferred everything from the old to the new.

I dont think i'm going to be able to make it, i'm running low on money right now and gonna be for a wile... So to save some money i think i'm just going to stay home get some rest and work on my school work... Sorry guys, i'll let you know if plans change yet again...

Hey will anyone be willing to give me a ride up there? My car will not be done in time for the meet so unless I can get a ride, I wont be able to make it.
