The only thing I was worried about was was all the stuff I read about how hard it was to paint the engine compartment. That was actually fairly easy to me. There was a lot of truth though to the stuff about preparation makes the paint job. Spend time sanding, and fixing any imperfections...

If you go on ebay they sell kits for motorcycle wheel pinstripes. The vinyl comes pre-cut so the bend is already there. I did this on my Charger Daytona and it looked tight. I ended up getting tired of the stripes though and all I had to do was remove them (big issue with paint).

Thought I would post some pics of my progress so far. I will be primering it for the next week, then wet-sanding, then painting...still haven't decided on a color, but that black is growing on me. I'll post more as I go.

Wanted to follow up on this cause I hate it when people start sh!t and don't follow up. I swapped new plugs and wires, still rich. I then bought a boost leak tester off of ebay, worked great, ended up with more leaks than I could stand. All intercooler related. Fixed them and all good.
