I wanted to start a central thread to recognize and honor those forum members we've lost over the years. We'll edit the first post in this thread to keep adding the names to it as people reply to the thread and share more names. Use this thread to share stories and appreciation for these members, whether they were heavily active here or not.
If you have some ideas on what we could do to make this thread a little more special, PM me.

Updated the list to include Wendy...

I feel a little ashamed that I didn't include her in the original post. If I missed any others, someone please reply and let me know. My memory isn't what it used to be.

Guys, I hate to say this but we lost a good one earlier today. His daughter posted that he suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away earlier today. Juan was specifically huge among the GVR4 community and was our JDM "connect." Very sad day. He will be solely missed. Just letting y'all who are not on social media aware. RIP Brother. Gone too soon.

This is an older passing, as he has been gone almost 4 years now, but Chris Hill was an ole timer. From what I remember he started in the Honda game, and ended up in 3000GT's. That's where I met him all those years ago. He was a vendor that went by Import Power Online, sold out, went to work for 3sx, then started Ninja Performance.

He had an account here that I was able to find https://www.dsmtuners.com/members/imp-pwr-online.2675/. Looks like he created it after he had started selling propane kits and got a lot of interest. He battled multiple myeloma for several years before ultimately succumbing in October 2021.

Anyone that ever met Chris met a friend. I can honestly never forget him, because the first time we met it was Chris that dubbed my 3000GT (actually my OG Stealth) the Blue Bastard. While the Stealth has moved on, the 3000GT lives on in its place and will forever be known as the Blue Bastard.

I remember Chris he was a great guy. I bought a few things from him (as Ninja) for my Stealth around the time he found out he was sick. He wasn't really into DSM's that I knew of.
No, not a DSM guy, just an all around car guy. If he didn't have an (old) account here I probably wouldn't have even brought it up after seeing the post about JNAVA earlier.

What happens to the cars we love ❤️ ?

In our case, my sons will inherit the Spyder. They both love cars, our family history with DSMs, and the personal mods we made to make it unique.

I know my offspring won't want most of what I've accumulated. They have little interest in old rusty cars, big boats, vintage computers, pre-digital cameras, or high powered model rockets. Tools will likely split between son and son-in-law but the rest I'll have to start thinning out shortly to save whoever get stuck with cleaning up after me some bother.

This is hardly a issue any of us would have been worried about when we first joined.
