What kind of wiring is involved with wiring in the 3rd brake light that's on the glass on the interior when swapping a 95's hatch for a 97-99 gsx or gs-t?

I know the 3rd brake light is on the spoiler on the 95-96s. I think there's some wiring were the hatch bolts in at the top near the sunroof area on both sides? Also could I just buy the brake light off a 97-99 and put it on the hatch glass of my 95? I'm wanting to take off the 95 spoiler and put on the 97-99 spoiler but retain a 3rd brake light.

Any help would be appreciated.

On a 95 Eclipse GSX will a 97-99 rear bumper's reverse lights plug into the wiring harness or is the stock 95 wiring harness too short?

I did this swap before but don't remember having to mess with the wiring. Can someone confirm?

any idea how? did you have to splice into it? also are the license plate bulbs the same for the 95-96 and 97-99 so I can swap my 95s on my 97-99 bumper
License plate bulbs and housings are the same on all 95-99

I got my rear bumper from a junkyard with the rear lights and the harnesses. But for the 95 harness you just need to cut the wires and splice in a longer piece of wire.

I bought a 97-99 license plate bracket that came with the wiring harness. Does it not come with an adapter plug to plug into the harness or is it just straight wired into the harness?
