Thank you all again for the input!I took my bumper off this morning, lowered the adapter below the OFH, and opened up a port, 4 air bubbles came out. I let it sit in a little container for a few minutes, but it was just the 4 bubbles that came...

A little update on the car as I've been driving it this past week. It's been an absolute blast! The 14b pulls very well and has absolutely surprised me. I dialed it all in on link very easily. This is the first ive tuned with the maf and it wasnt...

Yes this could happen, especially if his AEM sensor is the 150 psig one, because the 150 psig sensor will have less resolution at these low pressures. Also, the sensors AEM gives you in the kits are the brass ones which they only rate at 3%...

Well, the filter/restrictor FP sells for journal bearing turbos is 0.125" ID. They call it the "Full Flow" size. I just measured the ID of some Vibrant -4AN fittings that I have here (part numbers 10771 and 10781) and they are only 0.168 ID in...

Agreed. I have had metal solid mounts on my 1g for many years, I like the shift feeling but I won't do this on a street car. Yes, it requires to check for loosen bolts and nuts often. I have experience that all the lock bolts on adjustable cam...

I gotcha, I always like to double check fasteners as well, I just wanted to avoid excessive vibrations as much as possible lol

Ive never had a problem other than vibration......until I did... i bolt check the usual suspects in the bay like alternator bolts and what not but now I will warn everyone to loctite their timing side heavily!

Another reason I’ll never run solid motor mounts on my car. I don’t understand why they’re as common as they are on street driven cars. With a Fluidamper/stock engine mounts, sitting in the car you’d never guess the balance shafts were deleted...

That's odd i've never had issues with my bolts coming loose. Only time i had an issue was when i didn't torque one to the correct #

Agreed. And another possibility, could be the junction block still has the air trapped inside and causing the pressure sensor reads improperly. Did you check by locating it below the OFH?Also you should confirm this. You said you have a oil...

Please make sure you use a lot of loctite on your timing components. I just found out that my vibrations backed out my timing pulley... waiting to find outnif I got blessed or if my valves bent

Even though that kit came from a 1g, it should still have 5 pins in the single connector correct?
  • Imback replied to the thread 2G Coil on plug set up.
    · 6 257
That's because that kit came from a 1g which has different color wires. It will still work.

I appreciate that information and you getting back to me. In the photos of the antilag set up for sale, thr wiring colors don't match that at all. There is a green, blue, and yellow wire visible in the photo which leads to some confusion for the...
