z31 turbo vs 2g TSi??

So, my buddy, who has a first gen 300zx turbo and I lined out cars up the other day after we finally got his car running the way its supposed to, out at his land on his driveway that happeneds to be just over a half mile long... My launch sucked... almost stalled the car, but his launch was not a whole lot better, we were even until about 25 when we both shifted into second. Second is were i took him all the way up to about 55mph in third. I had him by about a cars lenght when i hit 55 or so when we both let off. My question is, If we had more drive way, do you think he could have taken me, since he has the v6? He is running about 7 pounds of boost, mostly stock, aside from the minor weight reductions (ac, ps), cold air intake, and 3" cat back exhaust. And I am bare bone stock... 96 TSi FWD 5spd....

ok. all i know is that a healthy z31 can do high 14s to low 15 stock.
