This has been happening for a year, but progressivly getting worse. Occasionally it wont start, when I turn the key I hear it click, but nothing. When this happens if I turn the key back and forth 3 or 4 times it eventually starts. Seems worse the hotter it is.

Should I replace the starter?

How does it sound once it finally turns over? Does it sound like its really struggling?

Also, is the battery in good shape? It sounds like its definitely a problem in the charging system somewhere, as if the battery has just been continuously losing its charge.

Once it clicks and turns over it starts normally, doesn't struggle at all. Its more like the starter just doesnt engage, instead it makes a single click. Back and forth with the key several times and I get click click click start. For a year now this has always started it up, its just annoying.
