I just ordered a HKS SSQV with the recirculation kit for my Eclipse. When I got my car it had some P.O.S. BOV from a company I never heard of. It recurculated part and blew off part to the atmo. Anyway, it started leaking a week and 1/2 ago, so I decided its time to upgrade. Can't wait till it gets here. Also need a new clutch so I'm getting an ACT 2600. Both should get put in next weekend. :rocks: :rocks: :rocks:

Do you guys with the HKS SSQV like yours?
How about the ACT 2600? I know it needs a strong left leg, but drove a manual FOrd Explorer before my DSM so I know I can drive a car with a stiff clutch.

out of all clutches ACT breaks the most trannys. I'll stick with Clutch Master or Centerforce

Well I already ordered it, so I pray my tranny holds

I love my SSQV. I have mine vented (courtesy of the GM MAF) since my 1G BOV leaked a lot of air, and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm glad to hear that you got the recirc kit too. Don't be alarmed if your SSQV doesn't come with an adjustment screw (boost leak spot, and it didn't work anyway) or if it gobbles in low boost. It's all good. :thumb:

You mean, like a turkey? ;) (I loved that video.)

Congrats on losing your mod cherry so to speak. May it be the first of many, many successful projects. :thumb:

I'm still doing free mods cause I'm poor. Did buy an intake though...from the hardware store. :) Still have to put it together.

just cause one person says they hated it, doesn't mean its a bad product. Theres probably more to the story than them saying its a bad product.

i dont personaly own one but i know a couple of my buddies do and i love the way it sounds...i will be ordering one here shortly( get paid next week...should be interesting)
but congratz on the buy you should be happy with it!

Hmmm, if ure worried about breaking trannys then an AWD DSM probably isnt the car you should be driving... afterall a couple trannys in the graveyard is part of what being a DSMer is all about :) Im sure you'll be pleased with ure ACT! Gratz on getting started!
