ok so tonight I decide to race this celica Gts with rebuilt head etc...To make a long story short after the race I stop to let my car cool down and out of know where the infamous lifter tick comes on i look undneath and i see massive oil everywhere im gussing an oil pan gasket. NeXt I pop the hood and see the Manifold and turbo glowing red like supermans kryptonite engine temp was fine and im running stock turbo and manifold can anybody tell me y it got so hot like that ?

A glowing manifold and turbo is normal after a good run of boosting. Nobody notices it during the day, and most of the time at night it is dwarfed by the heat shield. Those shields are there for a reason, the factory knew it would get pretty hot.

The lifter tick you heard was probably a lack of oil in your motor. Was it dry when you checked the puddle of oil under your car?

Doesn't sound good dude. If something broke getting oil everywhere, the tick could be rod knock caused by a spun bearing because of lack of oil. You would be very lucky if it was lifter tick. Sorry.
