Ok I was checking some stuff in te car last night and long story short I left the ignition on and this morning my battery was dead but it got me to work. I replaced the battery with a brand new one. After it was fully charged I put it in and went to start it and NOTHING plenty of power all around. Turn the key and everything is normal except the starter does nothing no crank just power draw. If I hooked a boost pack to it it started but ran like shit. Now I have code p0340 camshaft position sensor. I just replaced the about a month ago? Will it be just the sensor and if so how is that linked into the starter? Or am I going to be getting involved in way more problems. Someone please help ASAP

I'm pretty shore the battery was fully charged I hooked it up to our pulse tech pallet charger. How is the cam pos linked in with the starter?

Got it running last night for about 2 minutes check the power output of the alt and thats good checked the power at the batteries and thats good. When I first had the problem I was only able to start it with a jump pack and it would run great except it would not idle brought the battery in and it tested good. Now even if I jump start it it won't stay running

Did you check your terminal?, are they all good?, check all the grounds and positive terminals to make sure you have all that good.
Concerning to the no start, It sounds like the battery doesn't have much amps to make it start, a bad battery can make the engine turn over normal, but it will never fire it up, your best bet is to get barrow another good known battery and give it a try.

Edit,

I just reread your last post,

If it doesn't start any more, check for spark to see if your still have it, other wise, I would recommend to diagnostic a no start test to see if you got something bad, I am concern your were getting a malfunction CPS, But if you have spark, then something else got bad,,,, Or replace the CPS to be save, It could be a defective CPS.

Well I tested my battery and it was good so i just replaced the cas and sure enough it IS linked to the starter as a fail safe so it won't start and destroy it self
