Would a loose Intercooler hose clamp (Leak) cause a 304?

I received a P304 (Cylinder Misfire) and noticed the car was not boosting past 5psi and has lost lots of pickup. I looked over everything and then noticed a clamp came loose connectiing the lower Intercooler pipe to the intercooler and the air was escaping.

Would this cause a 304? I reset the code, tightened everything and it hasn't returned yet...

Just wondering..

Thanks!

I had that happen to me once when I was late for work. My IC pipe coupling blew off and I had to limp it all the way to work. I could barely get on the gas to get moving. I would have pulled over to fix it, but there was no shoulder and high traffic. My CEL came on about 5 minutes into the trip and when I tightened everything down it went away and never came back. I didn't pull the code so I didn't know which one it was, it just went away by itself.
