Cv boot clamp, hose clamp ok?

Yeah i know its real ghetto!!!
If i clamp the boot further back will it clear the oil pan?

I went through 2 cv joint clamps but they both are really cheap and didnt work well at all! It left the boot very loose and i couldnt tighten it anymore at all..

Cant find a damn flashlight so i figured maybe somebody here tried it succesfully.
