Inner CV Joint Clamp size

What size inner CV clamp are the OEM clamps on an AWD 2G 1995 talon TSI? When I removed my engine I did not remove the whole axles....I just cut the clamp and removed the inner shafts with the transmission.

Now I need to put new ones on and do not know what size to get???

Have you searched a parts dealer like rock auto or anything? They have the correct OEM part... usually

Yah, most all sell the clamps that are generic and will fit anything...problem is those too difficult to install on the car.

I found the OEM type at Napa and they are adjustable and worked perfectly. I was able to get the pliers up in there after putting it on.

Man those Oetiker ear type clamps are GOOOOD. I am thinking of putting them on everything I can.
