Hey everyone, I'm having some problems with the talon. First off is the CEL. I need this thing off to pass emissions in a couple weeks. The codes are the MDP sensor code and rear o2 codes. I know I need to replace the 02 sensor(rear). But the MDP sensor. In link, can I disable it without it causing problems for emissions or do i have to get a new one?
Second, My main problem. The car studders in boost and runs at 10:1 AFR. I checked the plugs and they are a tad white on top(normal?) and the wires are like brand new. However, I didn't check the gap. I know it is supposed to be .28, but will it be different if I am running 17 lbs? If the gap needs to be different, what would it need to be for that boost level? I also checked for boost leaks and all I found was the bleed valve (I think) on the MBC. I know im supposed to bypass that, but that is all that I found to be leaking. I don't know what the problem is because it ran fine one morning and I came out of school with a CEL and this studder problem. What else do I need to check. I will post a log while driving. Please help! thanks!
