I just recently finished swapping a 6 bolt/2g head combo into my 90 AWD talon. Cannot for the life of me figure out this problem. The car starts and idles PERFECTLY, at 1/4 throttle in neutral the car revs fine up to about 5k and then stops and drops down pretty fast. If I go WOT in neutral the car with buck and backfire and then eventually have a anti-lag effect and rev up until I take my foot off the gas.
I have a MAFT setup that i'm not too sure if its the problem or not. I'm running 550s with the base knob set to "C" and idle set to 2.
When I installed new injector seals the seals were very loose and dont appear to be leaking fuel but i'm not so sure about a boost leak.
The car I can tell is running extremely rich, pullled my plugs and they were black as night.
The coilpack and CAS I bought locally and not positive on the condition of either.
What could be the problem?

Mods
MAFT 3" GM MAF
Fuel Lab FPR set at 38lbs
Fuel Lab fuel filter SS lines to tank
FIC 550s
NGK wires
NGK BPR6es
14b

i would bank on ignition problems. throw some bpr7es's in there and gap em at .028 or smaller if youre running more than 20psi. is this the 14b youre running on?

Runihg really right will drown out the plugs causing the bucking and misfire. Check for boost leaks, you should never run with one ever. Get a wideband to see how your AFRS are doing, most likely its due to running that rich.

All my IC clamps are tight. Could the lower injector seals be causing that big of a boost leak?
