Ok I hit a deep pothole and nailed my oil pan on it, and my bulkhead from my oil drain for my turbo setup came loose and my oil spilled out. Car was running maybe 30 seconds from the deep pothole. There was still about a quart of oil left in the pan when I drained it to see if there was any left.
I put in 3 fresh quarts of 10w30, it was all I had access to at 2 am. The car would not start. Got it jumped from a friend, and it ran fine down a flat stretch of road. Made a turn to get home, and there is about a 30 degree incline hill that I was going up, the car dies. I get another jump and the car goes maybe another 15 feet up the hill and dies again, but wont start anymore even with a jump. I check the oil again, its bone dry. My alternator belt was slipping from all the oil that flew out when the fitting came loose. (Oil splashed onto the tire, the tire spun the oil around the wheel bay, and since I dont have the plastic guards there, oil went onto my belt, alternator, and crank pulley.)
Had my friend pull me up the hill using ropes tied to his car. I was then pushed into a parking spot. He tried to start it one more time, the starter would click, the cams would move one notch, but the car would not start. There was a puff of smoke that came out from near the throttle body, but since its late and we had little light, we could not figure out where it came from.
I really dont know what happened, it was all a blur. We are going back tommorrow to check it out and see if the engine will still run. Just wanted to get some input from you guys on what could be the problem and how to fix it.
