At like 4k or 5k the car sputters or misses, or fuel cut, i cant tell. it makes really wierd noise out the exh, i cant explain the noise. I have new plugs and wires, heres the logs.

I have a question about his logs as well why is his timing so high at the 2k rpm range?
Rich fuel mixture or what?

I think its running rich, but im not sure. also the plugs are white, i have water or gas spurtting out the exhust when i rev it.

if your plugs are white that is pre ignition very bad when you are turboed in the first place. check your ignition timing it might be advanced, hows your engine temp?

change your plugs, and do another log see if it does it again white plugs are bad and i would also suggest doing an oil change with a restorer cause preignition plugs can also be caused by lack of lubrication.

my timing is at 5, and the plugs are a week old. about the old change a lack of lubrication to what? i dont see how that can cause preignition.

I dont know where that is just what i was told when i was having preignition issues myself so i did it and it worked out, this is also how it was explained to me at one of my auto tech classes at the college i just never thought to ask what needs the lubrication have you moved to colder plugs since you have started tuning if not i would suggest it. I was also told it can be caused by lean fuel mixture but by your numbers it looks to me like you are running rich.

It's not fuel cut since the logs show the injector pulse width > 0. Real fuel cut causes the IPW = 0 while the TPS stays high.

Your still knocking like crazy and what's going on with your TPS in the second log? Did you start backing off?

What's different since the last time?

Have you went colder or not  see if you have the same issue with the colder plugs. I think the 7's are stock go to 8's and if you had moved up to the 8's go to the 9's you may just be pushing more compression then the stock plugs can handle without preigniting they wont be any more expensive then stock ones being that they are the same brand, thats all that it keeps pointing me back too, I cant think of anything else it could be "I would like it if someone else were to throw something else in here that can actually totally understand the logs being that I have never used one before" but thats what I was getting is that you were rich I honestly think you need to look into the plug issue.

Said that before i saw you had stepped in steve.

ya isint wierd steve, ya i let of the throttle, but it was still reading knock? steve it makes a really wierd noise at 5k(my exhaust)and sometimes at 6k the car like just dies the rpms fall, kinda like the car shuts off but it doesent.

bpr6es is stock i have brp7es in there now.

i have my low setting at -15(some are a little less) does that sound right? and med fuel trim is at 83%
if the low setting are not right will that cause problems at wot?
