Im in the market, as it were, for 2g datalogging products. I would just get a PocketLogger and call it a day, but id rather not deal with having to log on a palm and then transfer. Is there any that can hook up straight to a laptop? 
What kind of blow off valve was it? I love my HKS SSQV. let me know next time u are going down there.
