i dont know how loud that gtp was from the front and the side but it was loud as hell from behind; made high revved fart cans sound like little chicken sh!t

Well, it couldn't be as loud as my car . I didn't hear shit when i got on it, from the front I didn't hear anything and my pass window was down, and when he was next to me, all i heard was my car. I know when he reved it, it sounded out like a gutted muffler kinda, didn't sounds good but that car can move. Oh ya, btw i found out its not my piston rings thats are bad, Its my turbo, thats why my car is smoking under boost I think if i didn't ahve my boost leak and my turbo dying, i think i could of walked him till he hits 90mph.

I will be up on hwy sometime eventually, first I got to get my car running right. First started with some weird idle surge(still there but better than it was) and now the damn gas pedal sticks whenever Im at a stop. I can practically have to launch my car just to get moving, which is annoying when your just trying to get down to school in rush hour traffic. God I hope me and my bro can figure out what the hell is going on with it soon.

Anyhow I will probably be out there with my blue Tsi Awd and probably with my buddy in his 2k1 celica(this car will be nice and fast in about a month/month and a half) once the weather starts to even out instead of this rain one day, snow the next and then sunny and 55 the day after shit.

dude when he got on it i couldnt hear your car at all and the only way i could tell if u were still goin was the smoke cloud between shifts. dude ill sell you my 14b turbo for like $80 its ported and clipped and it just needs a new oil seal

Its been pretty good these last couple of weeks actually and thanks to all that rain this weekend most of the salt has been washed away

That would be cool, first I gotta get some time to myself so I can work on things for more than an hour here and an hour there.

Between school and my jobs Ive hardly got time for myself. I found some info hopefully on the gas pedal thing so maybe this weekend I can take a look at that. Eventually everything will be good.

Also have on order boost gauge/a piller mount, 2g exhaust manifold, and a new KN filter(the one that came with the car is crap). Depending on when and how much I get from selling the last of my focus parts from my old car Ill see what I can afford to buy next. Looking at maybe a SAFC 2, intake pipeing, or maybe intercooler pipeing.

Yes finally back in my ride on sat. Been 3 months of frustration. Hopefully i will be down on hwy sat i will see hope the weather is sapose to be nice. Im driving a silver gst with silver rims. Hope to see you guys down there.

Waukesha ounty sheriffs suck!!! I go pulled over last night and got a ticket for my exhaust being to loud. He said if I can fix it by my court date whoever is there on the court date will check it and if it is fixed the ticket will probably be dropped. Now my question is how can I make my turbo back three inch exhaust really quiet, or does someone have a stock exhaust system that I can borrow for that day? Please help guys I really don't want to pay 180 bucks.

What you do is find a car that looks almost exactly like yours with a stock tail pipe. Take some pics. Done deal. Get a shop to print out a bogus exhaust repair and your set.

That's funny how you said that cause I have a 91 black GS eclipse with the stock exhaust on it. I was just going to switch the plates and drive that car to the court house, what do you think.

go pick up a stock muffler off a car in the junkyard have amuffler shope weld it on for like 10$ then go to the court house do ur shit, and have u muffler put back on .

damn sucks to hear what happened to you, i got pulled over last summer for having a "loud" exhaust, and my exhaust wasnt that loud for after market, greddy sp is like the quietest exhaust on the market, well anyways i just stuck my stock exhaust on and brought it to court and a stupid ass lady checked it, she doesnt even know different cars have different type of mufflers...asking me why does my muffler got 2 tips and the car next to me has one? hahha well ticket dropped and i'm going to stick my exhaust back on soon hehehe fowk the police!

I would go to the junk yard and get just a muffler but it would be difficult to put it on since I have three inch exhaust and I don't want to buy the whole stock exhaust system, or even try to take one off a car in the junk yard. I think I will take my chances and go in with my eclipse wiht the talon plates on it. Since they are both black and both have shaved badges. I sure hope it works.
