Ok boys and girls I will take it up on my honer to setup the SPRING DSM MEET. First off i wonder if we can get some sponseship from topstreet or midnight to bring in a DJ. Another cool thing would be to make some T-Shirts, and stickers. IF we can't get a sponsorships for the meet we would i guess all have to pitch in if we would want to do the T-Shirt thing. What else would be cool is if TopStreet or any other local DSM shop would give or sell at a good rate some parts that we could raffle off when you sign up to go to the meet. I think it would be cool to have a solid 40-50 car turn out. Please if you have any ideas throw them down. PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME FOR MY IDEAS IT IS JUST A THOUGHT.

When you looking to do this? I still have to get my car running again and with no garage its under a car cover and several tarps untill the snow goes away.

Yeah i need some help with sanding my car down and taping it off some time i have only done small spots before and i was wondering if anyone in the area would like to help me and if someone wants to maybe help me primer it too? i don't i would just like some help from someone who has done this before. I might through in a few fast food dinners or ahem, drinks , depending on when someone can help lt me know there is no rush i am just looking for a little help

As far as swouthwest WI DSMers there are a TON of us, you just havent been looking too hard.

In Platteville we have myself (Arnie Chamberlain), Harvey J, Luke Draeger, Dribbles, and Chris Ringberg. I rock a 90 TSi AWD with a little intake and exhaust (black with back wheels), Harvey has a 91 ES-TSi swap bi*** (silver with polished 92 TSi wheels), Luke has a 91 TSi AWD (silver) and a 98 GS-T (silver) , Dribbles has a 91 TSi AWD (red) and Chris Ringberg has a 92 TSi AWD (black)

We get together quite a bit, swap parts, tools, girlfriends, etc.

Oh there is also a WIDSM meet scheduled for january 8th in Whitewater WI (53190) my hometown. Some of my boys got together and got a booze permit and a day long rental of the rec center. Beer, brats, burgers will be had. Good chance to get your stickers and WIDSM shirts and hoodies.

Did you buy that black automatic Laser that was for sale in WW? How is that treating you. I looked at buying it but I thought it was a bit over priced. Really low miles though. If thats the car, what all are you doing to it?

Thats the park right behind the Wells dorm rooms (10story buildings) right? No I didn't buy the laser that was in WW. I got mine (5 speed turbo) in TN with no rust for $800. Drove it all the way home with no probs. Right now its kinda not running because the egt probe weld came undone and my new turbo is being a pita to put in (Stupid exhaust housing keeps hitting the water pipe and wont sit all the way). My landlord threaten to tow it so its at a friends house just north of Racine on jack stands. I'll definatly be thier on the 8th though, only thing is I'll be in my chevy winter beater.

umm i live about 20 mins north of Mequon 10 mins south of Port Washington it's just off of I-43. And i have about all of winter to do this so time is in your hands whenever you have the opportunity its cool. Thank you for replying BTW
