Yes, im talking about the meet this weekend. A DSM is a good cause correct?

By the way Paul, the meet isnt this weekend, its NEXT weekend. So hopefully, HOPEFULLY your refering to this weakend. :coy:

Kinda wish it wasn't for another few weeks so we could have a little more time to get alex's engine acctually IN the car. Right now the BRAN NEW Pro Topline Crank is sitting right next to me waiting to get dropped off at the machine shop and get balanced.

Hey if i get off work early enough i will try to swing out and help with that! But it is looking like my turbo is shot...I dunno

Also the meet is going to be held at a park now instead of Mobile Link. I am calling a few parks right now. I will post up the location along with dirictions. It will still be held in Wisconsin Rapids.

Sorry, I meant to say next weekend, the 17th, I know, and I'll be missing it. Andy-your correct, but its still suppose to be a secret. oh well. hopefully we can have another meet near the end of summer, and RRTL is still a go:thumb: .

where can i get directions, I am near milwaukee

Easiest way is to come up Interstate 39. Then take a left on Hwy 73 in Plainfield. Go about 15 miles on that and you will run into a T on Highway 13. Take Hwy13 North for about 6 miles and you'll be in Wisconsin Rapids. I think what I can do is just meet everyone at an easy place to find once you get into rapids and then from there we'll all drive out to the park.

I'll help you with it. Just bring all the tools and fluids and stuff necessary. I will stand nearby and offer helpful bolt-by-bolt commentary. Should you make a mistake, I will point and laugh. If the whole thing works, I will congratulate you and shake your hand. :)

Although on second thought, something might go wrong, like some bolts might break and such, so plan for that. The dealerships won't be open and it's possible, though unlikely, that you may not be able to drive the car home if something bad happens. Let us all know what you decide to do. If you want, we can even get some good pics and you could do another write-up on the install.

Well if i don't do it i won't be going! LOL because my turbo is going kinda quiclky..I can get the lines i need. And i think bolts. As for standing and laughing yea there would be alot of that becuse i haven;t done this before...If some one wants to shoot me a PM with what i might need. That would help to make sure i have eveything!

^^^ I can help install as well. I will bring some tools anyway just because I will be around lots of other DSM's. I am considerint RRTL as well. haha

Nepco is much easier to find for people from out of town, especially from the south. If it's available, that's my vote.

that is true, nepco is easier to find, but you can't reserve a building or anything there(I don't think) where as wazeecha, you can reserve the building at red sands, they can open up that big grass parking area to park the vehicles...there's just more room there...but it's a bit harder to find. I guess its a toss up on which one.

I am thinking Nepko. Yeah you can't reserve it but there is usually not that many people there. Plus it will be easy to find. There is a swim area so if you want, bring your swimming materials because skinny dipping is not allowed here.

Also I can provide a jack w/jack stands and some tools. Not sure if they will appreciate us doing that right in the parking lot of the park but as long as we don't leave a bunch of oil on the ground I am sure they wont mind. It would make for a fun little group project. We could all just take turns doing a little part or something. But hopefully nothing will go wrong and if it does, hopefully either I or some of the other DSMers in the area will have spare parts.

ALSO, bring your cameras. I'd like to get some video footage and stuff in. Also a big group car pic or something.

Yea a big group pic all the cars and mine in the middle on Jack stands! LOL I have a pretty good set of tools i can bring like 200 piece set..I called slowboy and i an get a install kit to me bfore next weekend and i got some turbo manifold bolts too! This may be doable people! LOL Now hopefully i will be able to make it out there!

I'd say if you got the install kit, new manifold to turbo bolts, there should not be a problem. If you bring oil, and a filter as well, then some 50/50 antifreeze because i find it easier to take the turbo out with the radiator out, and we should not have that hard of a time. Do you have the stock lower I/C piping. If you do, then we will have to cut it a little but that wont be a big deal.

I will pick up a 5qts of oil and a filter and coolant..Just a gallon? Yea I do have the stock intercooler pipe. Well if you guys really wanna go a big install i got a FMIC and a SAFCII and walbro 255 and pte 660s! LOL But that is just gonna have to wait till later!

Hey, if anybody wants anything to bring anything to install in my N/T Talon, go ahead!
