Wire loom that goes to alternator and ps pump

Hey guys
Was wondering what a certain wire ran to. The loom consists of 1 big power connector to the alternator, one ground wire that you bolt onto the alternator, one small wire that will stap on top of the ps pump, and then another connector that I don't know where it goes. I found it with a tab broken off inside it. I am currently having crazy electronic, alternator problems and was wondering if this is a factor?

It should be for the engine oil pressure switch or gauge unit.
