Anyway I replied cause my buddy had your precious one wiper mod got in an accident. Its unsafe plane and simple. You can come back again and try to flame me all you want. The point here is the car was made for two and putting one just makes the car unsafe in inclimate weather and tacky when its sunny. Hey to each their own I guess. On-topic: Even if it is illegal I don't think a cop is going to pull you over for only having one, so I don't think that is an issue. I guess if you want to do it, go for it, no one here can stop you, but just think of all the 4 door Civics with hubcaps, cut springs, altezza's, and type R stickers who have done this mod and see what kind of image you are going to put out.

THERE IS A RIGHT WAY TO DO EVERYTHING. You don't just get springs and drop a car 2." By all of your definitions that would be rice, correct? So you'd need a camber kit, shocks, replace any other questionable parts and THEN the drop would be a ok. But I wonder how many people would bi*** this guy out if he came on here and said "I just dropped my car 1.5; should I get some shocks?" I'll explain the "right way" for the single wiper mod at the bottom. Oh, and again; I don't have it and I'm more unricerish than most of you. The blade will be street legal, the blade will sit ON THE SIDE and not the middle, and it would look as normal as can be. let's move on:

R: Yes, because you are using the original motor and wiring it's business as usual, and the extra screen coverage means the linkage automatically gears up the single wiper to move faster on each speed than the twin setup.
A: So you'll have all 4 wiper speeds. And it's a reliable blade that will hold up and cover a good amount of sweep zone. Goody; that means it's still effective.

Check around and look at the pics. WOAH! The blades are on the sides?! That's insane! But wait! The blades are still functional! So:

Blades remain functional.
Hole is plugged up.
Wiper stays to the side at rest if you opt to have it that way.
It is street legal.
You have all the normal speeds that you had stock.
It covers 150 degrees of movement (no kit does 180 since it would sweep into the bonnets on the sides of the screen)
