18x8 with 45 offset (x2 for front) and 18x9 with 38 offset (x2 for back). Both they are both running 235/40/zr18. Will they rub or will they be nice and not rub?

Hello, it may not be the same case but ... I have 17x9 all around on my 1g awd with 28 offset and 255/40/17. It's a close fit arount the struts, maybe 1/4 inch clearance. Definetly sticks out past the fenders; one inch out in the front and 1/4 inch in the back. With soft stock suspension, it would rub the fenders. But with Sportlines and even with one coil cut in the rear, no sign of rubbing ;) I hope it helped!

I do not know the answer to your question but one thing you want to think about. If you get this set up, even though you will be running a 235/40/zr18 on all 4 corners, the diameter will be different from the front tires to the rear tires because of the different width rims. It may not be much, but you do not want to damage the drivetrain in the AWD. A couple mm might be OK (running on a low psi tire doesn't seem to damage the drivetrain), but anything dramatic could be a problem.
