How different will my ride run? Is it very noticeable? I have big 16g (factory boost), 750cc injectors, full exhaust 2.5" exhaust manifold, NO FP or AFPR yet. JE pistons (forged), Intake, SMIC, re-chipped ecu. Is it worth the 400 bucks? I cannot tune myself, i suck. My block has been shaved, bored, honed and my head has 3 angle valve job and hks 264/272 cams. THANKS

Weeelll.... I can tell you that the interface certainly LOOKS easy. I have yet to do any logging, since the night I installed it, my clutch went out and the car hasn't been driven since. It was an easy install aside from soldering the clutch cut wires, which may not be necessary. I think it's just for using NLTS.

Anyways, the ease of DSMLink is one of its best points, and how much you can do with it. I've been playing around with the program on my desktop, and it looks cool. I can't do much without a log though.

Oh, just saw that you already have a chip, so you already have a socketed EPROM ECU. DSMLink is 500+, not 400, unless you can get a used copy. Do you already have a laptop?

At stock boost levels you aren't going to see much of a difference. The real fun starts when you finish upgrading your fuel system and tune it for 20+psi. Get Dsmlink, a wideband, and you wont regret it. Tuning is easy and with the help of all of the people on the Dsmlink forums, you won't have any problems.

The only real difference I was hoping and would like to see (and maybe this has nothing to do with tuning) is the sputtering STOP during acceleration. My mechanic said after I got the car properly tuned because I have 264/272 cams, 750cc's, and will be running a 255lph and AFPR, then everything will work nicely together BUT I am very skeptical I guess.

I have DSMLink, a re-chipped ECU, 750cc fuel injectors already...I don't have a biggr FP or AFPR yet though. I thought I should wait to get those before I get the car tuned, and if I can get that help everyone said is all over the forum, please show me the way to go because I would like to learn how to tune!

Thanks

You won't learn anything watching somebody else tune your car. It's not something you can just pick up in 30 minutes of watching.
