Will adding a stroker kit eliminate crank walk?

i looked around the forum and couldnt find anything on this. my question is:

Will adding a 4G64 crank (making it a 2.3L stroker engine) eliminate how the 2G's crank walk?

no, because it is still up in the air as to why how to prevent to totally from happening. Any motor with a crank is in risk of CW. Just don't fall into the pit of dispare and believe it happens to everyone with a 7bolt.

yeah i know. many cars can have trust bearing play (crank walk). its just that for some reason the 7 bolt in a dsm is more prone to it. was just wondering if it eliminates the chances. thanks for the info

i seriously doubt it would because it is not the crank that causes the problem its the trust bearings and block that are the problem.

I recently tried to ask thats question, i wanted to know if the 4g64 7 bolt crank and block were also prone to walk!
