ok, i was looking originally planning to get the DP from exhaust depot for $200 and some but if this will work the same way then why not get the cheaper one?? it looks to me that it has a 2.5 inch inlet and then increases to 3 inches after the flex section and then comes back down to 2.75 inches so it can bolt up to the catback....i have a hi flo cat that i want to use so would i be able to have this DP cut back to where the cat can still go on and then have my slip fit cat put on and weld it and everything be okay?? what do yall think about this DP...it seems to me that it has the same qualities but i may be overlooking some stuff. . . .

Thanks :dsm:

I have a similar downpipe. It's actually about 2.25" at the flange, expands to 3" after the flex section, then back down to 2.75" at the flange. It's very similar to like an RS*R/Apexi DP. I chopped off a section of it, and clamped on a slip-fit hi-flow cat.

I've bought an ebay cheapo for 100 bucks, but like the other guy said needs be to chop off. However, a big mistake for me. I saw an aftermaket HKS cat back that has a 2" extention to hook up to the stock downpipe. The peice that was cut off bolts right onto the aftermarket catback exhaust. The ebay cheapo downpipe inlet is large and was hard to fit the stock o2 housing, which "gives me leaks". Other than that, the cheapo made my turbo alot louder, cool.
