will 15" wheels fit on a 2G GSX?

Im looking for wheels that'll be lightweight and small.
I want as much side wall flex as I can get to get better traction from a dig and help with a smooth ride. No Bigger than 16" but 15" might be better. It'll for daily use & weekend Drags. Basically a race-trim street car.

Will 15" Rota Slipstreams clear the breaks on a 97 GSX without any caliper grinding (or is 16" the Min)?

Also if you have any lightweight wheel suggestions Im all ears

15x7 slipstreams are very common on 1g's & 2g's.
Most seem to get the 15x7 +40 and then use small spacers, around 3mm.
