Okay i was on my way home and i went to make a right hand turn .. (going like 5 miles per hour) and i heard a Clunk clunk clunk noise... I went to pull in driveway and the noise happened again..

so i took it back up the hill, and tried going left and then right and the only time i heard the noise was going right..

I parked the car for an hour, jacked car up and checked the passenger side wheel for play.. and couldnt move it side to side or up and down...

I took the car back out and i drove around for a half hour and havent heard it since...

What could that have been??

I have a similar simptom on my car but it seems to mostly do it when I take 90 degree left turns and it goes faster the faster I go but then when I push the clutch it the noise stops. This only happens on turns. I do know that the passenger side cv boot is torn where it meets the transmission. I'm guessing a similar problem with both of us.

Or tie rods. I was just describing this on another thread but I had the same thing, I only heard it sporadiclly at low speed turns but it was definitely a clicking sound and it wasn't all the time. Ended up being the driver's side inner tie rod.

Stop thread jacking =P! haha

no but really.. it only does it sometimes apparently? i mean i know im overdue with the rotor change... WAYYY over actually.. hahaha but it won't make that noise anymore since i shut car off and let her cool down... its only right hand turns.. idn ill keep you guys updated.. ima take the passenger wheel off and inspect everything tomorrow and letcha all know!

Turn your car on. Pop the hood. Give it a little gas and watch your serpitine belt. I have seen alot about turning right and this happening. For it turning out to be crankwalk. And alot of people say "it's not as common as people think" but i went to a junk yard in a small canadian city with 6 crankwalked eclipse that were stripped and parted out because none wanted to put the money into the fix
