Why isn't my CAS plugged in?

I have a 95 Talon with the CAS on the top of the head (in the top left corner while looking at the engine from the front of the car) and there is nothing plugged into it. There is a male 3 pin inlet on the CAS and I can not find the plug that should go to it ANYWHERE. The car 'bucks' and I was wondering if this is why. Thanks.

Do you have a 6bolt swap?

There shouldnt be a cam angle sensor there unless you did a 6 bolt swap.

No, it is there for sure. It is a 7 bolt engine in it, I had the trans out myself. Anyway, I saw on two of my friends cars that there was not a CAS on theirs (same years). Mine is there, just no plug plugged into it. The bucking problem ended up being something else anyway. The dude that owned it before me had bosch platinum's in it. Bad idea! Anyway, thanks for your help and ideas.

so why isnt the cas plugged in though, isnt that important??? You can run your cars without those???

dsm4g63t - 95's don't have the cas on the top left side of the motor. I had the same issue. It turned out to be a 97+ head on the car. Look behind the intake cam gear and you will see our cas. 95 and 96 have totally different cam angle sensors.

I am putting a jdm motor in my 95 and it has tha cas on the left side also but not one in the normal postion should i hook the one on the left up or not??

Hey, you only run one cam angle sensor at a time. If you do the 6 bolt swap is the 1g one that came with the motor.
