Who's got nice 2g eclipse taillights!!!

OK, i have looked at all sorts of tail lights out there, and honestly, all the after market lights look cheap to me. My car has a set of EURO chromes in it (came that way) and i hate them. I have considered bying a similar set in black, but they still look like some 18 cents an hour kid made them in some really small country.

Does anybody know of some nice looking aftermarket lights i can get? I have looked at stock ones, but they are too plain. Smokes stockers are ok, but still plain. And to me, the EDM/JDM ones are played out.

Ive either thought of getting some candied to match my nsx Blue GSX (which i have no clue who to call for that) or as stupid as it sounds, id love to find some like the ones that are on the eclipse in the need for speed underground intro. They are black with like 3 or 4 round lenses, 1 of which is amber.

Let me know of you have any suggestions for ANY good looking lights, im getting desperate!!!

I custom painted my altezzas...I posted the pic in another post so it won't let me post it here, but check my gallery for pics. I think it looks pretty sweet, and I've never seen them around.

EDM is played out? I don't think I have ever seen a car with a pair of EDM tails on it (save euro imports). I would agree with saying that the altezzas are played out.

I saw some nice clear ones in the classifieds a few days ago. Those ones always look sweet, especially on brightly colored cars.

These are my CF look altezzas, I'm not sure what brand they are, I know they AREN'T APC, and are great lights, they give off nice red light when on, as opposed to pink or purple like some... and if you wanted one of the lenses amber, I'm sure you could think up something to do that... (as for where to find 'em..all I can say is check ebay )....anyways, hope this helps

played out? exactly how many people with eclipses do you know of that has this? i had mine direct from japan for $280. so far, i've only seen 2 sets here in NY. mine and another kid from Long Island.

Those are the only altezzas I like, although carbon fiber is ok. I would definately rather have smoked stockers or cleared ones.

Ive never seen those crystal red ones before. I like them, but i don't think they would go well with the blue car.

Has anybody ever opened up a set of altezza's and tried to modify them? I looked at mine earlier, and thought about trying to paint the chrome stuff body color.

Also, those smoked ones look really nioce too. Where do you get that professionally done? I hate that self tint spray. A friend ruined a $400 set of projectors with that stuff.

The Euro/Japanese tails are not played out at all IMO, very few US cars have them.

I don't know where you can get it professionally done, I did the tails on my car and my brothers. My lights are really dark, and his are lighter because it's a black car.

I think thats the reason why no one has them. 280 for some tail lights? and ones that look stock except they have ember on the ends. Thats enough for some 550 injectors right there. To each his own of course

i understand. i just know that the same tails are sold here in the US for double that price. it just so happened that a friend of mine who was stationed in japan was done with his naval career and was coming back home. he called and asked if i wanted anything from there. everything is priced the same there if not more expensive (electronic struff ie:HKS, Apexi) except for those tails and HKS (mushroom) filters which is $20. so to make a long story short, i got the tails and the filters. it was a one time deal, either get it then or not get 'em at all...
