Im the only compact car tuner in my town. I come from houston where its everywhere and moved to a small town in nebraska. my compitition; comaro, mustang, nova... my grief; nowhere to get parts expect the internet and no credit. with a few parts I know my dsm will give those a$$holes a run for their money. but alass Im getting screwed trying to buy parts here that are "special" and overpaying bigtime, putting me behind sceduall. my plan; opening my own shop  parts and detail shop, a small one with my dsm as a show car for products. Ill sell parts for all kinds of cars ofcourse and try to get some people to be aware that imports are bad ass too. :thumb:

Well i live in a small town to, but there are more tuners in my area. We have an exceptional amount of hondas/acuras, and neons and cavaliers, The only dsms :rocks: that are there are Mine,TheSickness, LordPaxin,Wibblersnatch, gst1103, and our friend ramsey, oh there is also one tacoma, and one WRX that hangs our too, but there are a couple cobras, and z06's as well

Yea i live in Etters PA and there is nothing right here. but i don't have it too bad, i live right in between Harrisburg and York. there are a couple of shops around here like Autozone and Advanced, but they don't have too much high performane stuff, just the run of the mill maintenance stuff i need. its pretty nice tho that just recently (coinciding with getting my license) Creative Car-Tunes came into the area (about 15min away by speed limit) they are a hi performance place but expensive. i buy most of my stuff on-line anyway.
Even tho we are a moderately Tuner-friendly area we don't have too many hot cars around here, LOT of eclipse/talons but not a lot of em tuned.
Thats cool that you are gonna open your own shop thats a dream I've always had, a dream that will never come true for far to many reasons LOL but if u can do it go for it. it would be cool. u just gotta make sure you have enough of a customer base. but Good Luck with your business and your car :thumb:

I feel your pain I live about a hour away from Houston, theres probably 4 dsm's in my town that are souped up even a little. my friend has the only gsx that I know of. I have to drive at least to Houston to even meet any other dsm people. theres barely any actually good nice civics just people with fart can mufflers, and no paint job trying to race. but good thing is I have a ghetto garage shop that I fix peoples cars and charge out the ass. I'm just a over priced mechanic. gotta love it :)
