hey just wondering what company to buy injectors from and exactly what size i should buy. im putting in a 20g turbo (hahn racecraft), ive got a fmic with hard piping, k&n intake, greddy bov, walbro 255lph pump, aeromotive afpr, full exhaust, and i am also buying an ecm link, aem fuel rail, water/meth injection and still doing research on exactly what else i need to be pushing 24ish psi without blowing shit up. money will not be an issue for the injectors. i am thinking about going for something around 1100's but not positive and thought i should ask some pros. also if there are other things anyone knows i will need to buy so my car doesnt blow up, please let me know. ill add it to the list. thanks. btw i am running 94 pump gas but will only be "racing" with the water meth hooked up.

I had a 20G with FIC 750cc injectors, AEM EMS and pretty much the same mods as you and had no problems

I made 328hp and 301 torque and ran a 12.4... this was on my GST, on slicks, spinning through first with a 1.9 60ft...pump gas 93

With 750cc injectors my duty cycle was good (just can't remember the percentage) but there was still more injector left if I needed it, but since you were thinking 1100cc you'll have even more injector left to take full advantage of that 20g

Since you have link you can get big injectors (1150cc+) and tune just fine. That will also leave you with room if you want to run e85 down the road, or move up to a bigger turbo.

It doesn't cost much more to go bigger, so it's senseless not to.

Leave yourself room to grow, don't buy parts twice.

Your tuning device has a lot to say about what injectors you should be running. For instance, an AFC can't compensate for much airflow beyond what 650cc/680cc injectors can provide.

Since you're planning on going with DSMLink/ECMLink, buy whatever you see fit. Keep in mind larger (1150/1200cc) injectors may require more dead time adjustment than smaller injectors due to their response time. Once you get dead time and your global fuel correction calculated, your car should literally run with 1150's as it would with 450's. From there you can fine-tune your fuel curve.

and company wise. whats the best company to buy from. and turbojimbo, cant a 20g make quite a bit more power than 330hp? are you just not at high boost or what.

I was having internal wastegate problems...it kept blowing open...that was 328hp at 19 psi...going external on new setup

External is good for 20g and larger turbos, they allow you to control boost better

The internal on my 20g just had a tired and weak spring and would blow open anything over 19psi so it would just stay at 19psi

See how far the internal will get you...but if you are planning on getting the most out f your 20g an external would make things easier

I haven't look at HRC turbos in years so it might be different, but when I ran one a few years ago, all of their turbos were T3 flanged. Have you looked into that? Cause if it is a T3 flange you will also need a new exhaust manifold.
