which compresion ratio

i have decided to go with wiseco 2618 pistons
but which compresion ratio should i get 8.2:1 or 9.0:1?
im building a daily driver but want as much power as i can get
without a rough idle
and should i bore or not?
and how big
can i bore 40 over without getting a rough idle?

1. Wisecos are the best street piston for 4g63... IMHO best period but more ppl agree with the first statement.
2. Compression ratio depends on how much boost you will run and the fuel octane you intend to run. For a daily driver these days on regular gas I would run the 8.2:1
3. Overbore will not affect idle quality. Even cams have little effect on idle quality on a turbo 4g63. Bore increases can effect engine temperatures and ring seal due to thining the cylinder wall. I would just go to the minimum overbore. Want more?

A. Get a 2.4 block and run 87mm... Which is actually .080 larger than a 2.0 but only .020 over on a 2.4.
B. Have a 2.0 block sonic tested.. IFits a good casting with little to no core shift then you can probably get away with a 87mm 2.0 block..

lets say im doing 18psi and running pump gas
which ratio would perform better?
will one make mpg worse?
if ya will there at least be a decent size performance difference?
