Where to put toggle switches?

my one fan was never turing on so all i'm going to do is put a switch on it so whenever i need it, or all the time, i'll just have it on. The fan runs, but only when directly connected to the battery. I was just wondering where people have mounted thier toggle switches. I have a 90 GSX. i plan on having more then one switch but i was thinking of mounting it on the drivers side, side of the center console. my legs won't hit them. Any pictures or ideas would be appreciated.

if you run a wire from your fuse box to the switch and then from the switch to your fans you could place your switch just about anywhere you would like i drilled a hole in my console just above the cigarette lighter and ran my wire under my CD player and next to my shifter. or do you have foglights? if not you could get a stock foglight switch (from a junkyard) and wire it to that.

I know how to do it, i just wanted to know where you put them. I would also like some pictures.

Of a toggle switch? A relay? What are you talking about.....

You don't know what a relay is do you?....

Okay. In your fuse box in the engine compartment, open the cover. You will see a bunch of black boxes with little numbers and letters on them. They are mixed in with different kinds of fuses. The black box is called a relay. Replace that.......... .. . ..

Take out the coin sorter, cut out a piece from an old DVD case to fill it, then cut the piece out to fit around your toggle switch, thats where I would put it.
