Where to get caps replaces...

Hi,
Ok so my car sat awhile, and I go to start it, it wont start, long story short, I find out its the caps are bad, so I bought the actual caps from mach v, but they no longer change them... Does anyione know where i can send my ecu to get the caps changed... machv told me to try local tv repair shops, and w/e but noone around here does that for whatever reason, and theres only like 7 maybe 8 within an hour of here.......

where you live do you have a sears repair center? they can do it for you, i know i used to work there but you are going to have to take it in as just the board and tell them exactly what you want them to do.

I live in Prestonsburg , Ky, (in eastern kentucky) I really dont think we have a sears repair center, the only sears within 2 hrs of here, is a lil bitty one, that sells lawn mowers, and tires, ha... no electronics or nothing... ill try tomorrow...but i doubt thatll work.. ill probably have to pay that guy on that site to do it...

well they are easy to replace, but then again i do have my degree in electronics so whats easy for me isn't like that for other people. id help you out but im in hawaii sorry bout that. but steve is a really knowledgable guy on here and i would trust him. o and his sn is steve

I know they aint that hard to replace, ive messed around with circuit boards, and replacing capacitors on my old r/c cars before, but now its moreso, that a new thing for an rc car $100 tops... new ecu- alot more... and id be afraid id mess it up...just one of them things id rather have someone else do... but thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it...

Steve is awesome, I just talked to him for about ten minutes and decided he was who I wanted to do my repairs. Just search members for steve and you should have no problems locating him. I just wish he did more than computer repairs because I would like to send him more work.

i found him, but it took forever since there a like 4 pages of names that start with steve......to many members, j/k steve 00 steve 000 steve 001.......but anyway, i got him...
