Trans is back together but need a TC.. anywhere to get them besides the $800 performance ones?

Not $800 but better than stock. This is just one of many places to get them. Do your research on the good ol' internet

I have been.. that one is still 649 with out a good core.. mines trashed. May just have to figure out how to come up with all that though.

How trashed is yours? If the shell and teeth are good that's all they care about I understand completely about the $ issue. Try trans star transmission parts place. You should be able to at least get an OE REPLACEMENT for now. Just couldn't be as rough on it till you can get the $ for good one . I'm doing the same now. It sucks but life happens . When you finally get what you've been working towards it makes it SO MUCH better when you get it to enjoy it and having the piece of mind that it's done correctly with no short cuts. Also great when you stick it to someone because you did you homework

Well im also in the process of building a motor. Mine has 165k on it and the tranny just blew. So i need it back together for a few more months to DD. May just try and buy one that matches my 16g so i dont buy twice.
