where can I find brand new stock struts for my car

Cant find any stock struts anywhere. I was told to stick with stock until I can afford konis. So I am looking for unused stock struts, unless anyone can refer me to a brand that would be $300 or under. Thanks

Check out KYB GR-2, they are a stock replacement shock. You should be able to pick up a complete set for around $200 shipped.

Thanks for link, never heard of them before. Changing my shocks+struts in the 3g and not sure if I wanna go stock or kyb.

Never heard of rockauto.com, are they a reliable source? Their kyb shocks are $35 a piece which is pretty cheap. And im not too intelligent on suspension, I would just need 4 of their kyb shocks to soften my ride right? Nothing more? My shocks now are pretty rough

Absolutely zero problems out of Rockauto.

+1 on Rock Auto and KYB. I got 80k miles out of GR-2s with no issues. You might wanna consider replacing all your strut mounts too if you got some miles on them. Rock Auto should have those too for a good price!

Second the rockauto.com suggestions. Along with the KYB Gr-2s. I've used em on three of the 2g DMSs i've had. Nice bolt up, great price and nice ride too. When I got them ebay had a deal for all four corners for around 300 shipped or so. Not a bad deal.

I just bought a front set of KYB AGX adjustable shocks from map performance for $290 (free shipping) on Wednesday... they arrived this morning, im happy.

I lowered my 1G FWD because the dealer no longer carried OEM springs, I am using KYB AGX and can't stand the bounce. Does anyone carry Stock height spring replacements?

Just an FYI, these cars came with KYB shocks. So any standard KYB shock is Original Equipment.

I just noticed they have kyb shocks and kyb struts. Eveybody has a diff opinion on what shocks and struts are. But according to rockauto, which do I need?

^ Shocks are just shock absorbers. Struts are shocks and springs together. No opinion about it.
