Did you find out what you thought went wrong with ## car? Sucks that it happened. I need to do some work on my hunk of a dsm:( Needs so much tidying and fixing up. Really need a full weekend to do it. Any takers? LOL

So far as my plan is replace timing belt again. fix oil leak. install cams. install FIC 750's(when I get them) Possibly install second meth nozzle at IC inlet. Spiking pretty hot. I have a small nozzle just for that. Clean up engine bay of oil. Remove AC condenser. Install pusher fans. have them already. re-run all vac tubing. hid as much of it as I can. Play with jackal to get my Cyclone intake running properly. As driving home I could see that by bottom end was gone and spool has just about gone. And I need to find a 4 bolt complete assembly.

Bob thinks he popped his head gasket, so i called it quits for the day so that my car was sure to make it home safe. I didn't get as many runs as i wanted, so I'm going to capitol today when they open. It's the last day they are open this year. Looks like MIR is open till next weekend and Cecil is open through December 10 weather permitting, but that's not happening for me.

Oh damn. Ahh, I got a buddy whos headin to crapital to run his 2011 5.0...Lets just say im now .6 faster than him...

^ :). I know this setup has an 11 sec pass in it. . . so back to more tuning and meth. Ill txt you when it gets closer and the weather is good.

Get a LSD or weld the diff:) ull be well into the 13's with good tires

Saturday i got a new best MPH of 130 but was only able to run a best of 11.7. The wet box was unavoidable so my sixty foots were all in the 1.9s
Sunday i got a new best E/T though of 11.56 at 128 and that was still with a weak 1.8 sixty foot. I have some suspension work to do over the winter that is sure to help bring my sixty foots back down.

Ran a new best. 13.259 at 102 Down from a 13.42. New to play around with a bunch of stuff. Tune, Timing, New meth nozzle at before IC. And get my cyclone intake working right. My 60 foots should be better if i can get it to work correctly.

Ahh already got ## hands fool. Nice. Well maybe next year...or AWD conversion

My first time out, I had a best of 12.4 @ 110 with a 1.7 60ft. Timing was maxed at 6 degree's up top on the 7 bolt. Setup has more left in it, retune and I will hopefully get my 11 sec pass!

Lill update for my junker. Installed some 272's I picked up the other week. Replaced Timmin belt. Tried to fix oil leak:( no go on that I think. Ordered FIC 750's Since i went to SD over 4K I got straight to 19 Psi if not 21:( 450s cant keep up. Hopefully after I get them installed and tuned out with the cams Shell run very good

Heres some pics of the FIC's with new seals. The cams being installed and a lill surprise I found after taking the valve cover off. ARP head studs.
I have some tunning to do with the cams but as of right now at idle you can tell she's camed out. And she pulls much better now. Ill be installing the FIC's tommorow. Making the adjustments to the fuel tables. And hopefully gettin the Cyclone intake to work correctly. If I can get everything done and running right Im really hoping for that 12 second time slip

Hey guys need some advice. Right now with my current setup im bottle necking myself at the Turbo and SMIC. I want to get a HX35 sometime in the future. Anyway I found this Turbo Compressor Housing TD05H + Wheel 20G DSM 1G EVO 3 | eBay and was wondering if it would be a good option. Id rebuilt my the center housing while im at it and port the WG and the turbine inlet. Just wondering what you guys thought. And this will be with the SMIC for now. As I cant find a FMIC. Unless someone knows of a shop that will do a FMIC. I have the IC and some 2.5 piping. Just need custom install. Mount for IC is on the car also.

I would go with the anti surge housing for the same cost. I have a mhi 20g, and it surged above 26psi. So I bought the ebay 3" compressor anti surge housing, and solved my issues. I am also seeing 52lbs a min so far with this setup. Still have a bit more room to grow!

all the ones that i could find where evo 9 comps. didnt find anything EVO III or dsm other than the one i found

I havnt for sure found out but I think it has a 2nd gen manifold. It look like the bottom right ear has been ground down

Psh, forget the 14b, I would get a 20g. Why put money into a small, insufficient turbo, when for a little bit more, get a bastard 20g and be set?

I love keeping up with the local guys dsm builds and progress, so I guess I'll chime in with what I have had going on.
On my last trip to the track, (Capitols last day open in 2011) on my third pass after doing back to back new best passes of 11.5s I broke my 3-4 shift fork. The trans is torn down and I'm about to order some new parts for it probably tomorrow. I would like to have it running by next weekend depending on how quick the parts come in. I will probably install my FPR and my AN fuel feed lines while the car is in my buddies garage. Car is getting some collant in the radiator and a change of oil weight and a filter change while she is in as well. I don't drive the laser much, but it does see a few days of street use so i need to get it ready for the winter.

Also i just picked up '91 Plymouth Colt Hatchback. The white paint is in really good condition and the body is about average for a 20yr old economy car. Some dents on the left rear quarter pannel and the corner of the front bumper is hanging off some on the other side, but all in all pretty good shape body wise but needs some TLC. It's an auto car and has a 1.5L that only appears to be leaking some oil from the valve cover and distributor o-ring.
I never liked hatchbacks, but i get the fuss about them now, they seem super practical. There is a ton of room in that thing, and the back seats fold down. I'll be messing with this on my down time that i'm waiting on parts for the laser ect. and see how well she drives. At that point I'll decide if I'm going to decide if I'm going to sell it or put Historic tags on it and keep it as a beater...and possibly a 4G63 donor car in the future bwahahahahaha. But if you know anyone that is dying to own a colt hatch back, just let me know as i'm not too attached to it yet, but it is growing on me. PICS to come soon.
