whats wrong wit my tranny

ok i bought a 92 talon tsi fwd tranny is suppose to be fully built he said it drove fine and its now stuck sitting in a parking lot it wont shift out of gear i tried shifting the shift levers on the tranny but they wont move its got a 6puck clutch in it can any1 help me on this

I'll give this a shot, even though your post was kind of confusing.

Did you try to shift when the car is not running?

Any odd noises?

Does the clutch engage/disengage?

The more information you can give us the better.

the car needs a new starter so it wont start and i think the clutch is burnt up in it cause there really isnt any pedal pressure

If the pedal goes down real easy and doesn't seem to do anything, it's more likely that it either needs new slave & master cylinders, or it just needs to be bled.

Yes, low pedal pressure has nothing to do with the clutch itself (unless something is really wrong).

Did you get receipts from the guy that sold you the car for the work that was done to it?

check the fork position.The fork might be broken......
