i forgot to latch mine also, launched it, hit 2nd midway threw hood flew up blew glass all over me, and came off and landed in the middle of the road. btw anyone have a winshield for a 95 99 with a sunroof, ill trade a slightly used cf hood for it.

Kinda funny,i was driving my friends 5.0 mustang, and he stopped me ( he was following in a rsx). said the car was smoking , popped the hood , looked around, placed it down, (DID NOT LATCH IT) and looked under the car... i got back in, started driving hit about 45.... BAM!!!! the hood slammed into the window, caved in the roof, and i locked up the brakes and slide into a field almost getting rearended by a rsx and a evo that where following me.
