99 eclipse burns oil after up to full temperature but with lucus oil additive it does not, I don't like the idea of leaving that in my engine what would cause this? My head gasket is leaking externally could it be internal to? Does anyone think that if I remove the last head bolt that I could shave it down or if I can't get it out past the cam perhaps I can shim it? Opinions please

Bro stop making post after post. There's no way around what you need to do!!! You might as well start focusing on parts and doing the job right, then trying to band aid fix it. No you can't get the bolt out without removing the cam. No you can't shave it down or whatever your thoughts are. The gasket is shot and needs to be replaced bottom line k. Don't mean to be so harsh but that's the truth bro. Plan on a timing kit, water pump, head gasket kit, head studs, and anything else you can do while your in there. Do all this properly and your motor will run for years if you take care of it ;)
