I wouldn't do that too much w/o a t-case as its hard on the VC but yes, its normal. There is such little load on both of the wheels that the friction on the spider gears is enough to make them both turn. If you tried to stop a wheel that has its diff equiped with an LSD (such as the rear on most awd dsm's) it will keep spinning and likely take your hand off4g63swap said:I have an awd 95 talon should the front two tires spin the same? right now the car is on jacks and if I start it and put it in drive the passanger tire spins hard but I can put my hand on the driverside tire and stop it is this normal?(Xfer case is off the car just wanted to make sure)
thanks
