A friend gave me his old turbo off his 1g eclipse... He said it's better(bigger internals) then the 2g turbos. I'm Just wondering what turbos better.. Imma upgrade my turbo regardless.. But imma get my car tuned next week... So should I just get it tuned with the stock turbo on my car now? Or put the 1g on?

To put the 1g turbo on (14b assuming hes manual) will require an install kit which can be found at extremepsi.com and other sites. It will have some gains over the stock 2g turbo (t25) but not huge

the 1g turbo (14b) is not a HUGE upgrade, but it certainly is bigger and a good first upgrade for you without having to spend much money

If it might ask what are you tuning??? running a 14b at 14 psi should be fine without touching anything.. You have a 96 ecu and you show no piggy back devise in your profile... Don't waste your money and start reading.. Tune your car yourself.. It saves you alot of time and it will help in the future.

I have a good amount of ugrades... My friend Wich haves an evo said I should get it dyno tuned... Because of the upgrades such as: front mount.. 255 fuel pump, 550cc injectors... An several more... He said it will be a big differance when it's done

What are you using to tune with?

I don't have any knowlege on tuning the car my self so I was going to take it to a shop.. An have them use whatever they use to do it... I was checking other forums on the site and people say it's pretty simple... But i don't want to risk doing any damage to my motor... It someone could explain the steps on how to tune I might be able to accomplish it... Lol... Or if anybody lives around this way I will pay them to teach me that skill...

You need a device to tune with, whether it be an SAFC, DSMLink or even just a EPROM ecu to have custom chips burned. Please search and read information regarding tuning devices.
