i decided to make this forum because id like to see what the majority of ppl on tuners have
im guessing a 14b but i could be wrong, also, i am interested in buying a diffrent turbo ive had this big16G for a few months and a few ppl that have this turbo that i know ended up upgrading to an FP Red, i just usually go on dsm cruises in chicago and some staright racing no autocross. thanks alot :D

evoiii 16g ported..

i like it, i have all the necessary supporting mods to pretty much max the turbo out. when i upgrade im going after the agp 50 trim kit with some 680cc injectors, 3" gm maft, and a FPR...then my car will be running a nice 11 sec 1/4 mile and im content with that...my low 12 sec car just doesnt cut it for me right now...haha.... ;)

Then PTE 50 trim is a great street turbo that will support 450 HP that can be run on pump gas. PTE 50 is my vote. :thumb:

Ive had my big 16g since like febuary and I love it. Great spool top end and good low end. Im going autocross/roadrace so I dont need a straight line turbo. If I ever need another turbo it will be a evo3 16g, But Im just one of those ridiculous people who think theres more to life and DSM's then just going straight. Plus these turbos are 11s capable, so why not tune and work with your car then try and over compensate with a bigger turbo...just my .02cents
Andrew

i agree with the person that said why not work with the 16g since its capable of 11's othen then buying a bigger turbo that will be a little more difficult to work with...

the evo3 16g in my opinion will always be the best daily driven turbo...sure the 50 trims are amazing turbos and so are the 20g's, but im just thinking they might be just a little bit too big for a daily driven car...i dont plan on getting a 50 trim or 20g until i get a greddy profec b EBC, so that i can just cruise at like 10psi during the day and then if someone wants to fool around then i can flip a switch and have 23lbs of boost right up there ass as my greddy type S says bye bye

Big 16g and I wish I had went with the 20g or 50trim instead. What are you intentions with your car? Im daily driven and the b16g makes good power but not exactly what I want. If you want the easiest install, go with a big 28 but if you want power, go with something bigger than the 16g line. My b16g spools to 21psi@3000 rpm. I have been in a car with a pte 50trim that would spool to 20psi by 3400 rpm. What do you want? 400 rpm quicker spool or to be fast?

Most everyone is not happy with their turbo, simply because we are human and we always want more. Yeah my car is decently quick but it's still not enough for me. I think for the 2 liter a 16g is a good middle ground, it's where you need to be before you decide to grow up to something bigger. I don't plan on going any bigger on the 2 liter, but I will be going to at least a 50 trim when I go 2.3 :D

Hey theres nothing wrong with the 14b...if memory serves me right the 14b has dipped into the 11's, now doesnt that say something right there?

I've got a Big16G n my GSX at the moment. Great for small towns with small streets, etc. 20psi by 3200 is awesome for me, especially being I try to cruise at 2K. My 14b put down some good power on a stock motor for 14psi, but I'd still like bigger.

My AGP 60-1 should be here tomorrow, or so says UPS.

mitsubishi small 16g, exellent power range with supporting mods. Mine is very loud, I never sat in a 20g equipt car, is it much louder then a 16g?

evo III 16g.

Very unsupported at 15lbs on pump gas its going mid 13's. Should be plenty for me when I finish the car.

big16g and im not happy or satisfied with it anymore.. im sure its great at its max effiency at about 24psi.. but i cant runt hat unless i have race gas.. i want a turbo that has a lot of power at only pump gas levels

which is then why im going with a 50 trim..

i have a EVO III 16G ......sitting in the god damned box in my room ! Its been there for 2 weeks (getting car back together) I wuill update you guys later :D

Yes, 16G's spool very loud. And yes, 20G's are very loud. I rode in a 20G powered 1G with an external dump and you can still hear the spool over the dump.

Thats the weird thing about my b16g it spooled normal but sounded like a god damn vacuum cleaner, no louder. But when I went from 2.5in exhaust to 3in it spools VERY loud and its back to the high pitch spooling sound I remeber hearing with my t25. As I said Im satisfied with it I just cant wait till I tune for 18-20 psi :D

TD06 18G

Love the spool, love the mid-range, wish for more top end.

600CFM and maxes out at 390whp. Good turbo alternative.
