Alright ppl i need your opinions.

I HATE my muffler (came with the car) so i was goin to replace it but why replace if when i can just get a cat back but i'm not sure what to get i have 2 ways to go as of right now that i would think about considering

A.) Apexi 3" cat back
B.) RNR 3" cat back

Both are SS and i believe correct me if i'm wrong will bolt up to my factory cat or test pipe if i decide to do that.

Now which would you rather take yourself and what do you think i should do both are the same price 1 is 491 other is 505. I've been told RNR takes awhile to ship cuz they make it all custom and i dont feel like waiting the other is from extremepsi and normally there shipping is good but due to the size of this i'm not sure if its goin to take just as long.

Another ? i had WILL i have boost creep with a cat back i was planning on getting a turbo back but i dont want to deal with boost creep and i dont know how to replace the O2 housing myself so i dont feel like paying someone to do it now.

I'm basically doin the mod for the looks but minor power upgrade will come with this also it is a step toward a turbo back since i'll just add a down pipe and O2 housing later on

SO give me your personal experiences, opinions or make fun of the thread if it doesnt make sense due to the fact i never could really write (stupid dislexa)

I would go ahead and do the turbo back now if money is not too big of an issues. the o2 housing is too difficult to do, and it will be necessary. (i have a turbo back w/out an upgraded o2, and it creeps a lot) the good news is that it does help out and sound pretty good. I have the rnr 3" and it sounds pretty good. fitment is ok. dont know about the apexi

yeah i would like to do the turboback but i dont wanna deal with the creep and i know if i keep doin mods the clutch isnt goin to hold together much longer

I'm just gonna do the downpipe test pipe and 02 housing at once down the line its just about the same price mabye alittle bit more but i dont mind it

Just buy a muffler and have an exhaust shop make the rest in 2.5". You could buy any knock off N1 off of Ebay for around $50.00 or get a nice magnaflow for a little more. It should cost you around $200 for the whole setup. Creep wont be as bad as with the 3". If you arent doing a dp and test pipe now then you dont need the flow that 3" exhaust will give you. Assuming you are still on the 14b also wont require a 3" exhaust. 2.5" exhaust will last for a very long time.

But if you are set on the full pre-built cat-back. I would tend to lean towards RNR, they are supposed to be shipping faster now, just call and check they may have one in stock ready to go.

My firend mentioned something like that also and i'm goin to look into it but i'm thinking about getting a 3" cat back so when i start doin more mods and such i wont have to replace it also with the stock DP and Cat i shouldnt really have boost creep

thanks for everyones help so far
