Niagara,
Hey guys, I'm getting my car painted in a couple weeks. I know I want to keep it black, but what would you guys suggest I do to make the paint stand out. I want people to know I got a new paint job. I was thinking maybe a pearl or a flake. Just something to make it look that much better. Please give me some ideas, and post some pics of your black 2gs! Thanks.

I would keep it black, make your car stand out. And after that put two stripes going down the bubble on the hood. One stripe bigger than the other. :D

Thanks for your reply, I'm looking to just get a nice paint job. I dont really want to rice it out with decals. I'd rather keep it clean. Thanks. Keep the ideas coming!

You could get a nice glossy reflective black and keep that clean, paint your rims bronze, and get a nice not too dark black tint on all the windows and I'd bet good money it would look nice. :thumb:

Just browse through the gallery to get some ideas.

Yeah I wouldn't put to much detail into the paint either. Besides I'd like to keep it bold and original!!! But yeah keep it black, it makes the car look rich!

LOL. I dont know if I can find the time to clear it that many times. I'll definitely throw a couple of additional layers on there. I like the sounds of that blue pearl idea, it'll flow great with my engine. Thanks for the ideas guy. Please post some pics if you've got anything you want to show off. I've been searching the gallery, but I've been coming up short. Thanks again guys.
