Well i was on the highway the other day when one of my belts snapped. I lost power steering, power supply, heat etc.

I found out that the belt that ran from the motor to the alternator to another pully had snapped. (the flat one) on my 2.0

I went to autozone and got a new belt and when test fitting it I noticed it seemed small. I got it over the motor pully and the one above it (that runs the other belts) and it was a loose fit. Im looking at the alternator and its a good 4 or 5 inches away from the belt. I understand there is an adjustment on the alternator to pull it in towards the pullies more, but even in its closest position it looks like the belt is still to short.

It says 99cm on the package and 0095 on the belt. Is this the right size or did someone give me the wrong belt?

Thanks alot for the help guys.
